Between work or school, family, and friends, you have no time for yourself and still feel like you can’t make anyone happy. No matter how hard you try, there’s always something left undone, or some goal you can’t quite reach. Even when you do reach some arbitrary milestone, the next one seems just that much farther away. All of this has started to affect your mood, your relationships, and your sleep. There is no end in sight, and you don’t know what to do. What nobody has told you is that anxiety and stress are not inherently a bad thing. They cause you to be driven to reach your goals and have helped you to get to where you are now. You just need a partner to come along side you and help you use your anxiety and stress to your advantage by setting reasonable goals and expectations for yourself, teaching you self-care techniques, and most importantly, challenging the negative thoughts that are keeping you down.
